Because SHRMP.bio won the Audience Choice Award at the LaunchClub Pitch Night in Melbourne in June, we scored free access to the new Buildmate programme - which also means that SHRMP.bio is now headquartered at Stone & Chalk in the Melbourne CBD.
We came out of LaunchClub with one conclusion and two key questions.
Our main conclusion was:
The worst thing to do is not to do anything.
Because the Future Opportunity in Aquaculture seems large (larger than we even thought ourselves initially).
And because we are still early in the game, the IP space appears open enough to allow for the creation of potentially meaningful assets.
This is the reason why we keep on going with the SHRMP.bio.
The two questions:
Of course, it can be built; at least, the SHRMPReactor is only a matter of time & money, the question is more: how to get started.
But we have no idea how much it is going to cost, but that's just a function of the how to get started to build it.
Therefore:
Buildmate - for Q4/2024 - for us has the goal
to plan a first prototype for a SHRMPReactor
- and depending on the outcome, either build it...
or start raising money to build it.
